Since he began law practice early 1974, Mr. Fuhrman has developed extensive transactional and trial experience. While his focus is on family law and business law, he also represents clients with real estate and landlord-tenant matters, personal injury claims, and those accused of crimes in State, federal or juvenile court. He has tried many cases in which child custody, the valuation and division of real estate and businesses, and the determination of child & spousal support are involved. Glenna deCamara Eubank was an Administrative Law Judge (ALJ)/Senior Hearing Officer for several years with the Special Education Hearing Office, University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Formerly a partner with Stutz, Artiano, Shinoff & Holtz, Ms. Eubank leads the firm's special education practice. She focuses exclusively upon the representation of children and their parents or guardians in all areas of special education law. Ms. Eubank has an extensive background in special education, particularly as an adjudicator who conducted administrative hearings, interpreted and applied special education law, and published written decisions. Further, her past experience as counsel to school districts, school board members, and Special Education Local Plan Areas (SELPA's) makes her uniquely qualified to handle all special education issues. Ms. Eubank has been professionally and personally involved with the special education community or more than twenty years. She has worked with the California State Bar Association on special education issues. Her activities have included the creation of programs for children with special needs, and the provision of volunteer legal services to disabled individuals. Ms. Eubank has served on numerous state and local committees that address special education matters. She conducts seminars and workshops in special education. Before concentrating exclusively on the practice of special education law, Ms. Eubank was a personal injury litigator. She also served as a deputy district attorney in the Appellate and Juvenile Divisions of the San Diego County District Attorney's Office. Michele M. Vallat joined Law Offices of William R. Fuhrman in December 2006. Ms. Vallat focuses on family law matters including Divorce, Custody/Visitation, Support, Property Division, and Paternity. Ms. Vallat has been in the legal field for nearly 8 years. In December 2001, she started her career while she attended law school, first as a file clerk and then as a law clerk with Lesh & Lesh of San Diego, CA. In June 2003, after she was sworn as an attorney, she continued as a junior associate attorney. In December 2004, Ms. Vallat left to start Vallat Law Offices in San Diego, CA where she continued her focus on family law matters and broadened the firm to handle Family Support Division cases. In addition to working with clients, Ms. Vallat contracted with other family law firms to complete discovery and research projects. In June 2006, Ms. Vallat returned to the multi-attorney firm environment, working as a Staff Attorney with Greenman, Lacy, Klein, O'Harra, & Heffron in Oceanside, CA. Ms. Vallat worked under the direct supervision of partner and Certified Family Law Specialist, Karen Heffron until December 2006. Ms. Vallat is a member of the State Bar of California, the San Diego County Bar Association, and the North County Bar of San Diego. Ms. Vallat received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA. She was a member of the Pre-Law program at F&M College.
